'Art & Design Work from Manchester Metropolitan University' is the first exchange exhibition to be held in China under the auspices of the MIRIAD China Project. 'Made in Manchester' is the second venue of this changing, touring exhibition. It presents to Chinese people - who are famous the world over for producing things under the banner, 'Made in China' - art work created and made by the artists of Manchester. The work being exhibited shows personal expression and ideas through painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, three-dimensional design, and much more. The work reflects the teaching and research activities in Art and Design at a leading art institute of the United Kingdom. We do hope that this exhibition will open doors to further exchanges, opportunities, research collaborations and friendships.
