Notes on the Speaker
Carine Durand is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Social Anthropology at the University of Cambridge. A former curator of the Americas ethnographic collections at the Natural History Museum of Lyon, France (2001-2005), she is currently studying collaborative projects between mainstream museums in Europe and indigenous populations from the Pacific and Fenno-Scandinavia. Her research interests include museology; international indigenous policies; anthropology of art; visual anthropology.
